Dear Parents,
We are excited to take this opportunity to tell you about a new online grading system we have introduced for this Fall at True Partnership Christian Academy (TPCA). This system is called Gradelink and it has several key benefits over conventional grading. As a parent, you will now be able to track your student’s academic progress online. Here are some of the key features:

Check class grades, current GPA, attendance, assignment due dates, and see upcoming assignments online.

• Request an email to be sent to you if your child is absent
• Receive emails when your student is getting good grades and/or poor grades in class
• Review grades and GPA from previous term transcripts
• New style report cards

In the next few weeks, your son or daughter will be given a letter containing your personal login information to access the Gradelink website. We strongly recommend once you log in, that you change the default password to one that you can remember and only you know. For security, Gradelink uses SSL encryption (as used by financial institutions) to protect your child’s information. Gradelink recommends a PC running Internet Explorer 8 or higher, or an Apple Mac running OS X with the Safari browser.

If you do not wish to use the online features of Gradelink, please contact the school office to disable the Parent/Student feature of Gradelink for your child.

We are confident this new system will be a benefit for both parents and students alike, making it simpler for you to keep abreast of and be involved with your child’s academic progress.
