Mission

To promote International learning experiences and global understanding through International studies and instruction that is fun, challenging, relevant and highly engaging to enhance cultural diversity and global competency. International studies integrate global perspectives that allow students to thrive as they develop a strong sense of respect for themselves and others while recognizing their value and role as members of the global community.

TPCA ‘s International Studies Program provides the following learning opportunities to our students:

International studies are integrated across the curriculum to prepare students for an interconnected world. This integration provides varied opportunities for our students to become global learners as they understand the geography, history, government, cultures, and economies of the world.

As students develop critical thinking skills and leadership experiences, they are prepared to eventually become more effective as workers, leaders, and citizens of a rapidly globalizing world.
International studies help students to understand their role in the global community and develop compassion and a strong sense of hope about their ability to make relevant contributions to the world. This allows them to make a positive impact in the world.
Students are taught by a faculty that is highly involved and have experience in International training and teaching thus exposing them to raw and enriching international learning experiences.
